    How to play
    1. Keep 2 or more letters from the beginning or ending. Keep them together and in order, at either end of your new word.
    2. Add or replace the rest. SUNSET → SETTLE keeps SET. STAMPS → PSALM keeps PS. The shared piece can also stay at the same end: BACKPACK → BACON.
    3. Type the whole new word and press LATCH. Shared letters lock; the other cards flip. The plus lights up when your move is accepted.

The shared piece must touch an end of both words; you cannot take letters only from the middle or rearrange them. You may keep the whole current word, but your next word must have letters outside the shared piece. Plurals count. No repeating words within a chain.

Hint opens locked letters and empty slots; click Hide hint in the same place to close it. Inside the hint, Show word reveals the answer without playing it. If no reviewed hint fits, you can still try other words.

Stuck? End chain lets you start fresh. When neither end has any unused legal words, the game announces CHAIN COMPLETE. No timer or penalties.
